Whereas that EP featured a trio of reworks from the extended family, both tracks on this solid 7" (snigger) come from Berlin-based DJ/producer Trent. He begins with the cheery European disco of "The Acrobat", where prominent horn lines rise and fall over slick funk guitars and shimmering strings. Flip for the cosmic disco-meets-cosmic rock masculinity of "The Fool", a killer fusion of elastic slap bass, eyes closed guitar solos and occasional blasts of glam rock vocals. Whip off your T-shirt and get to it (dancing, that is).
