North American pressing, limited to 500 copies with different artwork. A collection of contemporary hi-energy music from Ghana, featuring the "Kologo", the West African two stringed banjo. These stripped down studio recordings push the two stringed lute into expansive territories of dance floor worthy bangers. This music is related to the Delta blues, both in forceful style and strong social messages, and sung in Frafra and pidgin English. The tracks were recorded in local studios in Ghana and Amsterdam, and produced by King Ayisoba.
