Ø & Panasonic (with the three original members Ilpo Väisänen, Sami Salo and the late Mika Vaino) are heavily responsible for the ground breaking minimal techno from Sähkö Recordings early 90's movement. In tribute to Mika Vainio this record carries 6 tracks with him involved – all of sonically similar landscape, though A-side sticks out with Ø's stripped techno always containing excellently executed atmospherics. This is the sountrack of Jimi Tenor's movie "Sähkö" from 1995 and was believed to be lost, but recently found in Warp's archive and returned to original artists.
