The 10th anniversary of Moon Harbour is around the corner; naturally it will be celebrated with a compilation.
"Ten Years of Moon Harbour" will come out in autumn 2010 containing unreleased tracks by many artists that
have been part of Moon Harbour throughout the past 10 years. This package of remixes is an appetizer and
represents another milestone in the label's history: catalogue number 50. Matthias Tanzmann, Dan Drastic,
Luna City Express and Martinez have reworked some classics and some of the best kept secrets of the label's
discography to produce four great remixes. Matthias Tanzmann takes care of "Photone", a track from his former
project Gamat 3000. "Photone" appeared on the very first Moon Harbour release (MHR001). In his re-interpretation he turns the track from a deep house gem into a percussion-driven dancefloor-killer that he is so popular for. The track "Seyyes" by New Zealander Simon Flower which was released in 2007 (MHR031) was reworked by Dan Drastic. By using many layers of percussion elements he experiments with the synth lines of the original and again gives evidence of his qualities as a remix artist. Martinez from Copenhagen reshaped "Fresh" by Luna City Express (MHR019). This track was the start of Norman Weber's and Marco Resmann's joint career in 2005. The remix picks up the sequences known from the original and bolsters it with the distinctively rough Martinez-house-vibe. Luna City Express do something similar with their remix of Marlow's "So Mellow, So Sweet".
