Tough Luck Records are back after an extremely well received first release. The follow up to mixmag's techno tune of the month for August (Label Co-owner REbEL's History),
TLR002 is no less exciting and fresh bringing together a collection of familiar names and emerging talent from the UK, USA and Italy.
Sublime Tech house kicks of the EP with a heads down groover courtesy of the hugely talented Ocu. Weighty kicks and addictive vocal snippets combine with energetic percussion and throbbing bass sure to move the dance floor.
This is followed by newcomer Adrian fairless and his relentless Satisfy, a rolling number with signature snare drums and weighty bassline.
On the flip Freeman and Farrelly's "Never came home" cranks up the toughness. A dark, heavy affair that has already been doing serious damage on the dance floor full of intense hi hats and a sample that would make Mr Kirk think about his son again.
HoH's "Chimes of the Geisha" the Leicester native works the more techno minded side of the label, tension ramped up until driving bass bursts forth.
