Mr Bongo Records & Bottletop release this Brazilian-flavoured drum’n'bass gem with tracks taken from the forthcoming album ‘Sound Affects: Brazil’ (MRBCD049) which will be released in September 2007. This exclusive 12? features reworks of two classic Brazilian tracks. The piano jazz-tinged flavour of Tenorio Jr’s “Nebulosa", has been given the Hospital Records treatment by their very own maestro musician Nu:Tone. Coming up through the Hospital ranks Nu:Tone has become one of the most highly respected producers in the scene with big support from everyone from LTJ Buken and Dillinja to the more leftfield Norman Jay and Tom Middleton. On the flip is Bazeado’s “Segunda Feira", treated with soothing synths and infectious rhythms by Brazilian hotshot Bungle. These are two great quality productions, with all proceeds from sales of the vinyl going towards educating disadvantaged young people in Brazil, so there really is no excuse not to buy it!
