People Must Jam is our Sydney based warehouse party that we have been running for five years.
The ethos behind the night initially, was to bring DJs to Australia that we wanted to hear but that had never been, and to put them on in intimate spaces and let them dig deep into their collections to play whatever they wanted.
Over the years we have brought Rahaan, Al Kent, Leo Zero, Mark Seven, Trusme, Frank Booker and more to Australia for the first time to play.
Floor Jammers Vol. 1 is the first in a series of EPs from some of our favourite past and future guests.
Lined up for future records we have some of our previous guests including Rahaan, Mark Seven, Leo Zero, Frank Booker, Felix Dickinson, Andy Ash and more.
Our first record features Felix Dickinson, Frank Booker and Al Kent alongside Australian outback reclooses Out In The Sticks.
The record features four killer cuts that all compliment each other and show case some of the vibe at People Must Jam.
First up is a killer funk track, cut up by the mysterious Bastedos. The slap bass driven track is a guaranteed floor jammer.
Secondly is Out In The Sticks with an older cut that the Revenge had championed previously on his cd only 'L.E.S.S Productions' label.
Next is Frank Booker's straight up party track Dance Woman. Frank reworks Crown Heights Affair into his trademark chunky, funky house sound - a perfect dance floor destroyer.
Al Kent rounds up the release with a peak time rewire of a bona fide paradise garage anthem.
The record is pressed on 180gm vinyl and strictly limited to 300 copies.
