Portland label Dark Leader returns with three tracks plucked from deep within the underground. Acid Farm, a local Portland duo, kicks things off on side A with “Bala 303,” a retro acid piece that embodies the spirit of ritual dance. Next, Kaliningrad’s Muzikalist brings us “Acid Disco Valley,” a track that builds and builds to a frenzied reawakening of your inner raver. Then on the B side a remix by the one and only Black Merlin. His take on “Bala 303” drags your newly awakened monster into the darkest reaches of the unknown. Dark Leader 002 is housed in a full color jacket featuring both artwork and design by Eric Adrian Lee, and mastered by Timothy Stollenwerk.
