First up on the One Off series we have an unnamed but acclaimed producer who delivers this stunning piece of electronic funk. 'People of Earth' is a timeless house excursion with sublime chords and pulsed funk bass line that will shudder any dance floor. This is already _receiving heavy rotation from Giles Peterson_ and is set to be one of the year’s big underground house tunes. On the B side with have 'Trouble in Space'. A futuristic slice of damaged funk that sits somewhere between many genre’s but never in one. Heavy 4/4 beats and bass lines are the order of the day until Detroit like pads and chords break the flow. Lovely.
