Razor-N-Tape adds yet another new name to the roster with their latest release from Belgium’s UC Beatz, delivering the deep housey business he’s become known for as founder of the limited-run vinyl-only label Entrepôt. On the A side, Midnight Swing is peak-time house affair with pulsating chords and infectious sampled vocals, while Bleu Ciel smooths it out with luscious synths and a familiar voice over a driving classic drum machine beat. Codie Currie turns in a jazzy and bumpin remix of Bleu Ciel on the flip, adding his own vocals into the mix and the record winds down with the stripped-down and sultry Broken Idyll.
