Hailing from Porto, Portugal, and a recent addition to London’s kaleidoscopic music scene, Trikk effortlessly marries old school charm with new school edge. A-side, ‘Jointly’, takes Robert Hood-esque jackin’ techno drums and unites them with twisted garage vocal chops and relentless bass. On the flip, ‘I Fall Down’ takes things down a gear with an emotive mix of cavernous synth lines, heartbroken vocals and skipping drums which harks back to the finest moments of broken beat.
