The lovable Tom Demac has been a solid fixture in the UK scene for some time now. Well known for his complex live sets using tonnes of analog gear, his bass heavy, warm modern house sound has not gone un-noticed! In this special EP we find two exclusive new tracks plus remixes by Germany’s Soulphiction and Iron Curtis. A triumph all round! A1: ten from seventeen The deep and brooding ‘Ten From 17′ opens with mysterious vocals, raw drums and authentic jazz-tinged keys that swell and grow into a pumping floor builder. Casually throwing down the funk, Demac is on top form with this ode to the US sound. A2: this is what I want The sparkling and striking ‘This Is What I Want’ is a beautiful moment fusing touching melodies, some really unique production and a heavy attitude that once again affirms Tom’s powers with his seriously danceable musical journeys. B1: ten from seventeen (soulphiction remac) All-round hero of the scene and Philpott label boss Soulphiction, aka Jackmate, provides a reduced and club-approved psychedelic remix of -Ten From 17- that works a heavy, hypnotic vibe in this old-school style clear production. B2: ten from seventeen (iron curtis remix) Berlin man of the moment Iron Curtis also steps up and hands in a swinging, freeform remix that focuses on real deep keys, a classic sound aesthetic and all kinds of wonderful details to be found between the grooves.
