For their fifth release Todd Bodine (Highgrade, Treibstoff, Mothership) joined the cologne based Label Klangfarbe Schallplatten and created a high-quality EP, which is hard to find today. “Duplexer” (A1) initially allocates with Bongos in space, to furthermore stabilize itself with more bass, percussion and volume, which leads into a durable, massive flow that´s willing to persist bigger club duties as well. “Alpha” (B2) is structurized akin to “Duplexer", but celebrates the true force, the true might of Minimal by the use of consistently repetition of beat- and sound patterns as also psychedelic Acid-parts in good, old Plastikman tradition. “Morning Breeze” on B2 finally starts warmer and more housy, in a deep and easy Lean-Back manner, to distinctly cool down after a while and to approach the previous tracks. After all, the “From Nowhere To Somewhere EP” constitutes an extremely coherent EP, where it´s obvious, that all three tracks mate together - as they are.
