Take the lead singer of one of the best live dance acts on the scene today, a producer who is being lauded by everyone from Steve Bug to Dimitri from Paris and a classic song that hasn’t gone away for over twenty years and you have all the ingredients for a great record to end 2009. Just Be Good To Me, the SOS Band classic, has been brought up to date with vocals from Crazy P’s Danielle Moore and production courtesy ofThe Revenge. Danielle’s unmistakable voice has taken Crazy P to new heights since she joined the band in 2001. On Just Be Good To Me, she does every bit of justice to the original with a vocal that features in full, on the exclusive Vinyl Accatool. A perfect DJ tool fusing FX and accapella, for those that want to add an extra level to their sets. The Revenge needs little introduction having made huge waves over the past 12 months. Beginning 2009 with his now classic re-edit of Cadillac on Jisco and ending the year with remixes on Drum Poet and Dessous and fans in every corner of the dance community. It’s a been a fast rise to the top for the 6th Borough Project man but with a completely unique take on house and disco, it’s easy to see why. On this release he introduces his trademark slow house grooves to produce a long teasing nine-minute Eletrik Dub. Ron Basejam is the alter ego of James Baron, founding member of Crazy P who has enjoyed recent releases on Eskimo and Winding Road. For this mix he uses just snippets of the vocal, a rolling old school groove and a scattering of piano to produce a perfect dancefloor moment. This is guaranteed to feature in DJ’s sets all over the world over the coming months. This vinyl release features an exclusive Revenge Elektrik Dub and Accatool that will not be available digitally and exclusively on vinyl only.
