After a lengthy break between releases, possibly to readjust to the cooler climate, The Owl returns with another slamming funk fuelled killer of a release. Nose diving directly into another banger, ‘Spank No Mo’ is funky and tough and perfect for the DJ who likes their groove with concrete shoes! Second up is another funk fuelled vocal smash ‘Pure Heat’, that’s going to create some fire across every dance floor it’s played. Track three sees a different side of The Owl with an original track that uses a quirky 80’s sample thats gritty and heavy but still full of The Owl’s familiar sound. The EP closes with a track already featuring on national radio. ‘Papa Do’ delves nicely into vocal blues territory but with an energy that is relentless. Rounding off yet another bomb release from The Owl and his label imprint.
