‘Drink some beer, smoke some gear but that ain’t good for me.’
Following on from their insanely catchy debut single ‘£1.99’, released in August 2011, The Indicators are back with a new single, ‘Simon D’. The song, to be taken from their forthcoming debut album is another honest, succinct look at life through the glassy eyes of chip shop worker, Simon D and his two mates. It is a two minute tale of a little boy made to play piano by his parents as he was no good at football. An ideal Simon D thoroughly failed to live up to, falling foul to the peer pressure of teenage life in a seaside town. Produced by Dave M Allen of Cure, Wire, Depeche Mode fame, the yellow vinyl is in a clear plastic sleeve with b-side ‘Girl’ and limited to 200 copies.
