Scott Walker meets the Velvets during Britpop? The Dollhouse is a four piece Baroque pop band from Berlin via London. The eponymously titled album, recorded in Berlin in the winter of 2009 is a mix of chamber string ensemble, double bass, piano, drums and guitars. The songwriting is the brainchild of vocalist James A. Cook and the beautifully haunting string arrangements of Anne Marie Kirby.
