The 101ers were a pub rock band from the 1970's, notable as being the band that Joe Strummer left to join The Clash. Elgin Avenue Breakdown was  a compilation album or the band's recordings originally released in 1981 because of The Clash's popularity. This double red vinyl LP release is based on the CD re-issue by EMI in 2005 and has an overview by Allan Jones and detailed notes on each track by the band's drummer Richard Dudanski.
