Throw is the 1st track here, which manages to loop a refrain and bass that Candy Staton anthem, all the while sounding like a forgotten Moodymann MPC jam. Vocals, skipping snares, a bouncing tambourine & one of the finest bassline ever written (by someone else) compell you to dance. Need Your Love is a heads down sample house jam. It’s looping vocal, super tight drums, woozy chord stabs and sirens make it feel like the result of a studio session between a 90’s dubbed out Louie Vega & man-like Switch (before he went feral).
