Speaker-shaking underground house is part of Strictly Rhythm's DNA, so it's safe to say we're hyped to present The Point EP by T. Williams and James Jacob, an exploration into the deepest corners of underground house techniques complete with a vocal contribution from the Master At Work himself, Kenny Dope.
West London's T. Williams is no stranger to this genre, having spent the last few years honing both his DJ skills and a tough, percussive, Afro-influenced production style via releases on labels such as PMR, Enchufada, Pattern, Local Action and his own imprints Deep Teknologi and Today, Tomorrow.
T's Sodality EPs have proved another musical milestone for him, the second of which marked his first collaboration with James Jacob.
James Jacob is a multi-genre producer, DJ and label owner who's pursued his creative urges - both original productions and remixes - under several different artist monikers. His partnership with T. has proved to be a fresh twist in musical direction for both parties, yielding four quality cuts of pure house spanning the sparse Moody and storytelling house music history grooves After That and title track The Point.
