This is the first release on the 6-volume Surgeon reissues label, SRX. Originally recorded 20 years ago, Surgeon’s firstever release seemed to come from nowhere. Techno from Birmingham…really? It marked the beginning of the hugely influential Birmingham techno sound, receiving strong support from Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke and DJ Hell. Two tracks were featured in Mills’ seminal Live at The Liquid Room - Tokyo mix CD.
