Latest limited edition 7" edit single from Suonho, this time digging into the world of Latin Boogaloo for these reworkings. Ralph Robles 'Taking Over' is backed with Tito Rodriguez 'Mi Guajira Si'. Yellow vinyl limited to 300 copies, housed in a black die-cut sleeve.
This time Suonho takes us South of the border. On the the A side we get a rework of Ralph Robles 'Takin Over', it is faster than the original, consists of a structure and rhythm re-arrangement in overdubbing, drums come from two killer soulshakers: Wilson Pickett 'Land Of 1000 Dances' and The Capitols 'Cool Jerk'. Simply can't go wrong. On the B side Suonho takes the original Tito Rodriguez 'Mi Guajira Si' modeling the rhythm section pattern sampling Mancini's 'Return Of The Pink Panther'. It is really more of a remix than an edit, track moves from 130 to 168 BPM. It is a fantastic uptempo Latin floor shaker.
