A1. THIS PLACE
B1. NIC FANCIULLI REMIX
The latest Saved output comes from One Records co-owner and Berlin-based artist Subb-an.
For his release Subb-an presents "This Place", a record which is deep, groovy and is laced with a very catchy vocal. Finishing off the release is label boss, Nic Fanciulli who delivers his rendition on the flipside with a very cool sharp remix featuring several of the original parts as well as the vocals and works it to great effect.
An all round great package which will be dominating dancefloors to the close of the year and well into 2012.

IBIZA-VOICE.COM REVIEW
The embodiment of a new generation of British house music talent, Ashique “Subb-an†has been on rich form of late. In fact, he's maintained such form pretty much from the off: notching up an impressive string of releases on esteemed imprints such as Culprit, 20:20, Crosstown Rebels, and now, Nic Fanciulli's Saved.
'This Place' sees the producer in heavy tech-house mode, delivering with a track that's deceptive in its simplicity. Opting for a fairly standard deep intro, it soon alters direction entirely via a 909-led bassline that's at the fore of an extremely robust exterior, that – in almost hypocritical fashion – also makes use of a certain well-known Marvin Gaye vocal. An altogether different proposition to recent outing 'Feels so Real', 'This Place' still holds its own as a crafty and tough tool that's been tailor made for pulsating dance floors.
Label head Nic Fanciulli then lends his two cents via his remix that (almost unusually in modern house music circles), latches on to the original's bassline. Well, at least it does for some time, before Fanciulli showcases his own flair courtesy of a series of quite literally “alarming†synths. The manner by which he manipulates the spine of the original (weaving the aforementioned bassline in and out alongside a chorus of chopped vocals) is most impressive too, and in all, it's as mighty a remix as Fanciulli's churned out for some time.
Subb-an's original is a fantastic precedent and a worthy catalyst for what's to follow, yet the label boss' reworking just about trumps it. The vocal sample, in case you're wondering, is from 'Got to Give it Up'. Which, incidentally, is what we should do for both producers involved here.
