The stock of Hungarian trio Spinline has risen quickly over the last year, with recent appearances on both SGN:LTD and Ram, so BLKND is pleased to ready a pair of their polished space-age rollers. 'Suburban' opens innocuously enough, sensuous synth washes and crisp breaks giving little away of the goodness to come - grimy tunnelling bass and cymbal-ridden drums are laced with offbeat bongoes, dubtech hits and digi-code FX. 'Jetpack' on the flip is more muted, with mathematical bleep riffs and precision drums creating geometric patterns around a bassline that shifts and convolves into increasingly complex permutations.
