Son Of Sound aka Henry Maldonado has been a fixture on his native New York house scene since his first Strictly Rhythm release way back in 1992. With releases on Henry Street, Emotive and Cutting, amongst others, it’s no surprise to find Big Apple funk running strong through this, Son Of Sound’s three track Tirk debut, full of rolling percussion, hypnotic riffs, downtown disco and artschool funk.
