Following on from Killawatt’s Bring Down The Walls EP at the tail end of last year Osiris Music continues to expand their sonic
boundaries as they move in 2014, with their first release of the year coming in the form of Sleeper’s Simulation Theory EP.
Experimenting for the very first time with FM synthesis, the EP features seven tracks of thunderous production the majority of sounds
for which Sleeper drew from a mere four oscillators in a bid to recalibrate his production skills. The resulting record is far more than
the sum of its component parts and, save for the skulking, static soaked tension of Meth, moves with relentless force and purpose
throughout.
The Simulation Theory EP sees Sleeper taking his already deft grasp of both dubstep and techno production and fusing them to a
body of pummelling forward momentum perfectly suited to set Osiris Music off on what promises to be a bold and progressive year.
