Picking up where ‘Our Society’ left off, ‘Doe’s Playas’ and ‘I Can’t Understand’ pursue a dusty groove led aesthetic made up of well-cut samples. Diva vocal snippets , tribal tinged beats and filtered basslines make for an irresistible feel good combination. ‘Secret Agent’ explores a deep techy house sound built around a playful filtered synth line and bouncey bass, primed for the dance floors.
