Time Falls – Dynarec Remix Following up Sync 24's “We Rock Non-Stop” remixes EP Cultivated Electronics returns with it's first Vinyl EP of 2011 from long standing UK electro pioneer Scape One. For this release Kurt Baggaley turns in 3 varied Electro tracks ranging from Dancefloor heavy to after hours spacey with two heavy weight remixes from Sync 24 and Dynarec. The EP opens with “Substorm” a rock solid assault of crisp drums, twisted machine synths and a bass bin ripping sub bass line designed to tear the speakers apart. A definite peak time banger. We then take a deeper twist with title track “Potent Mutagen”. A fizzy analogue arpegio line leads the track over an off kilter beat with deep strings and tones. The flip side takes the EP into tougher territory starting with Sync 24's “Substorm” remix. The track maintains the hard beats of the original with the addition of layers of chunky bubbling analogue synths and rolling sub bass with spooky vocal samples and trippy pads. Dynarec completes the proceeding with his re-work of the bonus digital track “Time Falls”. He turns in a powerful rolling remix lead by a deep pounding 808 kick, arpegiated bass line, twisted machine like melodies and hoover sounding synth stabs. The digital bonus track “Time Falls” is slow burning piece with warm 808 kicks, chunky bass lines, deep strings and Kratwerk style stabs. A nice finish to the EP. Limited to 200 Copies Worldwide!!!
