rThis time around, foundsound delivers a summery tech-house bomb courtesy of ronan portela of buenos aires, argentina. and you get a groovy, floor-pumping remix by ray okpara of oslo and cécille fame. plus you also get a nice loopy dub mix by foundsound’s own barem + someone else. furthermore, you get two super-dancefloor digital bonus tracks. Ronan portela is hardly a newcomer. earlier in the decade, he kept busy dishing out remixes and edits (simply as ronan and with his group cutlab) for esteemed house labels like om records, defected, swank, harlem tracks, and the list goes on. more recently, his tech-house sound evolved ingeniously to fit these modern times. and he continues to release top-notch, dj-friendly tunes on labels like his own unlock recordings, monique musique, foundsound, and others. on a1 - “piumino” - it’s all about the gripping ass-shaker of a bassline. the bouncy groove is backed by organic tribal percussion, smooth samples and beautiful breakdowns. barem has been playing this track in his dj sets for months, and he claims that it blows the rooftop off the club every time. on a2 - “piumino (barem + someone else dub mix)” - you get a short tracky dj tool along the lines of the original version, and it’s at your disposal to edit and play around with as you like. on b - “piumino (ray okpara remix)” - you get a long-play that is a drummy tech-house groove-gem with a deep, alluring bassline and witty sound-play. on both digital bonus tracks - “beat up” and “warehouse” - you’ll fly high with dancefloor bombs fueled by powerful basslines, looping vocal cuts and driving tech-house beats. (take note that “warehouse” is available on beatport only.) go on y’all. let it bounce!
