Hip hop’s grimiest duo, The Alchemist + Oh No (Gangrene), have teamed up with Marcberg’s own Roc Marciano to release Greneberg, coming this August on New York’s up and coming hip hop powerhouse Decon. A pre-cursor to both act’s upcoming album releases due out later this Autumn, the project is set to be a smorgasbord of raw rhymes and cinematic beats – each track featuring guest versus and/or production from the other two artists. The Alchemist + Oh No (Gangrene) gained notoroiety and acclaim as a group with their November 2010 release, Gutter Water. Since then, the group has toured both Europe and the US perforing sold out crowds both domestic and abroad. Roc Marciano has been hard at woek readying his Decon debut, Reloaded, the much anticipated follow up to 2010’s Marcberg. Over the course of seversl years, both acts have become mutual admirers of the other’s work. The 6-track vinyl picture-disc will feature original artwork based on the fictional Mafioso character Greneberg. The Greneberg EP will also be available for download through iTunes with an additional bonus track and video content. The cold flows of Roc Marciano will lead off Side A with Gangrene’s twisted raps following suit on Side B.
