Since more than 20 years, Robert Aaron is the man to call when you look for a great sax player for a session. Robert taked part of all the musical movements in NYC since the end of the 70’s from No Wave (James Chance), Hip Hop (WU Tang, Wycleef Jean), House (he released a classic EP on Eight Ball “saxophone in the ozone”), Rock (he played on David bowie’s classic “Let’s dance”). For the first time, he recorded an album under his own name in Paris, an Heavenly Sweeetness Exclusive. He Called some of this friends to play with him : the Malian Keyboard maestro Cheick Tidiane Seck (Amadou & Mariam, Dee dee Bridgewater), Steve Mac Raven on drums, Cuban congero Emilio Del Monte, Monnette Sudler and the poet Anthony Joseph. The result is a great Soul Jazz album for the 21th centuary.
