In the intro, delayed piano chords hint at distant happy memories but soon make way for stark 808s and womb-like sub frequencies that bring the listener back to bitter reality. Insistent vocal snippets serve only to galvanize the tracks emotional content. Truly a song to cry to as much as dance. In contrast to this is ‘AA’ ‘You Don’t Understand’. Positivity and hope pervade this little beauty; it’s glistening synth hooks and intricate drum programming conjuring thoughts of joy and new found affection. Perhaps the perfect sound-track to a summer romance.
