Growing up just outside Chicago before moving to Detroit in his late teens, Rick has, and continues to, live and breathe the spirit of house and to this day remains ever relevant in a scene he has helped shaped, without ever compromising his vision. Making his debut on MN2S, Rick serves up typically classy house section opening with ‘Goon Hand’, a piano laden cut with a funky flair. As its name suggests, ‘Sacred Jazzomety’ explores a muted jazz-house aesthetic with great prowess, whilst ‘Mysterio’, with its hazy remit, broods an air of late night, smoky intelligence.
