White Label gears up for a great summer with the much-anticipated release from label owner Reade White’s project with Russian singer Natasha Romanova. Truth & Romanova met early in 2009 and immediately noticed an undeniable synergy in their approach to music. Lyrical content from Romanova easily merged with truth’s melodic content and unique rhythmic barrage. Wonderful Division provides global dancefloors with a crisp electronic house groove complemented with hints of old school NY flavor. Macif, on the b-side, slows the tempo for a memorably romantic downtempo jam. Natasha Romanova is a singer-songwriter born Natalya Aleksandrovna Romanova in a small Ukrainian town called Vinnitsa. She writes poetry since the age of 6 - same age she was enrolled in a musical school, where she learned how to play piano and began writing her own songs. Later she completed her studies as a classical singer-choir conductor at her hometown’s musical college. When Natasha was 17, her family moved to New York and she performed with various bands, the most successful being Discrete Encounter. Besides singing Natasha loves to paint and play piano. The main outline connecting all her songs is that of integration. It’s about the never-ending struggle to find your own path. Some songs are influenced by human relationships and lack of understanding.
