The final remixes is in the series are left up to Classic Records stalwart and Disco 45 joint head honcho Rob Mello, a man who should need no introduction, he has recorded, produced, and remixed a diverse catalogue of releases since 1992 and has been responsible for; the pioneering disco house duo “Disco Elements", and co-founder of the influential house label Luxury Service. And if that wasn’t enough he was also nominated for a BAFTA alongside Matthew Herbert, for the music on the UK club culture movie “Human Traffic". Not content with making one set of awesome remixes and being the thoroughly nice chap he is, Rob has given us 2 sets to delight the ears and get the hips shaking, up first his No Ears vocal and dub remix gives a nod to the Moody one from Detroit and creates a disco tinged deep house rumbler which is like a cross between Lil Louis’ - French Kiss and Moodymann’s - I Can’t Kick This Feelin When It Hits. And for round two the Rob Mello vocal and dub take things in a much more electronic direction but still retain the heart and soul of the original version, which alongside the Popular People’s Front, Motor City Drum Ensemble & Calibre remixes make it in our opinion the most definitive set of remixes of this timeless deep house anthem.
