Discogs prices rose accordingly and it's still very much at the top of many 'wants lists' 'International Smark' (translation: International Taste) opens with an 8bit Techno tinged waltz before quickly floating into dreamy synth chords and staccato guitar licks. Featuring an infectious cross dialect narrative (Swedish/Finish) provided by international songstress Tigerlight, the track comes across like a meeting between Metro Area and Abba - two acts PAYFONE cite as big inspirations. 'People' on the flip explores an Electro-Disco aesthetic bouncing along into the night with a heavily pitch affected vocal and angular bassline that drives an incessant groove.
