Ocolis is a modular techno project formed by two friends -gearlovers- passionate about sonic exploration and conquering the mountains. Discovering modular synthesizers in 2019 has changed their lives, urging them to look for new sounds, and most of all, to build their own hand-made modular suitcases. This artisanal approach led them to dive into the fantastic world of patches and cables, mastering their machines, and being able to play live. Equipped with their suitcases, they usually played in the middle of the audience. They’ve managed to break the common distance between musicians and the public. Each gig was a unique and spontaneous experience, driven by the feeling of the moment resonating with the energy of the crowd. Their music takes listeners on an immersive journey, weaving through atmospheric arpeggios, otherworldly sounds, and galloping acid techno that can be danced on the floor as much as in the head. This EP sums up two intense years of live performances mainly between sweaty caves and idyllic dancefloors. Each track was recorded live to capture this particular vibe.
