After the bubblin’ success of Slit Jockey’s DZ singles “What You Won’t Do For Love” and “Regulate,” the imprint is back with 2 more choice dubstep cuts of bang up bass action.
Manchester’s Numan is a hot on the rise 18 year old producer, whose tunes have been championed by the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, Starkey and Oneman. December 2009 saw his debut release on Wicky Lindows with the “7th Key” single and soon he’ll have an EP out on Subdepth. Here we have his pummeling Skull Crusher with a huge mental drop that is sure to make the dance floor freak the fuck out.
On the flipside there is no time to take a breath, as Clunge takes over your speakers with even more synthline mayhem. A commanding big boom swagger step that stands out as a very “now” sound. This track comes from the West London newcomer SDUK, and you can expect to hear more from him very soon.
Following up this single be on the look out for a Skull Crusher / Clunge Remix EP featuring the likes of Bombaman, Starkey, Grievous Angel, Dev79 vs. Thrills, and more.
Slit Jockey Records and sister label, Seclusiasis, have been heavy on the rise in the urban electronic underground. Slit Jockey is operated by Starkey, Dev79, and El Carnicero. Rich, BD1982, Drums of Death, Vex’d, Boody B, Hrdvsion as well as the popular “Street Bass Anthems” series.
