Born in London UK 1988, Leo Chilcott hated pretty much all music up until he was 16... and then realized he was wrong. A couple of years later Nightbreaker was born. Influenced by distorted electro sounds, to orchestral, Jazz and blues pieces such as Shostakovich and Tom
Waits, he presents his first record, 3 twisted and rocking tracks on Archibell Records. The first track right in the spotlight is "Tokamak" a track with a dark kick and grind, featuring layered synths and vocal samples that break and drop with attitude. No time for intros this track hits hard and fast and leaves unexpectedly. Next up is "G.I.G.A.S", defined by its epic breaks, driving melody and sudden mood swing. Perhaps the less sinister track out of the three, probably to give you a break for what's coming up next. Unlike Tokamak, "Nyx" starts with a slow baleful, classically influenced intro filled with suspense. Eventually dropping into a deep atmospheric hard hitting groove. Evil rhythm
crafted with precise microsampling.
