Nico Gomez & His Orchestra – Aquarela / Rio Nico Gomez was born in Holland before moving to Belgium in the late 40s. We have previously releasedhis seminal ‘Ritual’ LP on Mr Bongo, and it remains one of our favourite albums of all time. ‘Aquarela’ and ‘Rio’ are both taken from his ‘Bossa Nova’ LP released on Omega International in 1972. ‘Aquarela’ was also on 7” on Odeon/EMI in France in the same year.
