We celebrate the birth of the mother with „Easy & Stay EP“, the debut of Mother Recording's first son. Nhan Solo, who delivered the summer killer disco tune „Our Thang“ of 2011, ardently loved not only by Solomun. A1: With „Easy“ Nhan Solo touched a piece of music history and at the same time a piece from his youth. 2012 Nhan Solos interpretation begins with earthy drums, a melancholic light of soul and a piano melody that sets in one's head. Nhan Solo's sounds play around the clarity of these unforgettable lyrics: „I am easy like sunday morning“. The lightness, the weightlessness of a dancefloor at 6 a.m. In the morning, right before sunrise over the river Spree, when you just don't want the night to end, when you just want to be one thing: high. A2: Swiss newcomer duo Adriatique tells a tale from the dark side of lightness. This is underground, deep and a little bit evil. The two buddies from Zurich pitch the black voice down till it hits rock bottom, put a fat synthie bass line to the front and do what they are infamous for: catch the crowd and take it on a journey to the unknown! Being high becomes a trip, becomes floating through gloomy sound worlds from which there is only one escape: the groove. A3: For „Stay“ Nhan Solo entices you with a female vocal to a dreamy journey in spheric electronic landscapes. Jagged claps, syncopic synthies and a minimalistic bassline intermingle with foggy sounds. The snare jumps in, the beat becomes more driven and ends in a playful funky piano interlude. A4 Suol member and Watergate resident Fritz Zander's remix starts on a summer meadow with the sun at the zenith, with rhythms shimmering like hot air, with synthies dabbed all over like flowers in the green, green grass, and atmospheric sounds that remind of a blue sky.
