Amsterdam native Mr Mendel is one those cats you'll find digging in the deepest vinyl crates but also one to hook up seriously tight edits. On his debut for Basic Fingers he's played around with Gil Scott-Herons live version of 'The Bottle' as well as Fela's 'Roforofo Fight'. With some smart tweaks and additional production Mr Mendel delivered a fantastic EP of soulful black dance music. Just put it on and dance away :)
