The instrumental version of the same track is found over on side B - the aptly-named ‘Party Track’. Hugely in-demand since being one of the stand-outs of Harvey’s recent Beats In Space mix, it’s an irrepressibly energetic floor-filler, driven by a solidly grooving rhythm section with ultra-funky bass, wild space-age synth twangs, off-kilter chords and of course plenty of exhortations to ‘Par-Tay’!
