For the first record of the new decade Outer Zone welcomes Modus’ triumphant return for this second part of his “Triple M” sequence. Standing in direct contrast to the stasis much of modern life has been held in, this EP offers up an opportunity to vicariously enjoy a world, where the futuristic vistas that techno promised at its genesis seem present. Machinic cycles, looping escapism and understated funk are the axes in which this space is rendered, a space that for a moment allows us some respite from stillness.
