This is the second record of the Modern House Quintet, a French band who makes house music. Like the former release, this new one features two house/deep house tracks: “Marmande” starts with a lush pad and staccato bassline soon joined by percussions and an organ chord. The second part of the track introduces gradually a flute line plus a powerful open hi-hat. “Bellevue” opens with a pad and a filtered rhodes synth supported by a low-fi bassline. That structure evolves step by step until the break introduces strong open hit-hats followed by another flute line.
