When we first started discussing a potential release, I already had a clear concept in mind for the EP. Since each artist selects a character as the basis for their artwork, I immediately knew I wanted to use characters from the game Hollow Knight. These characters served as inspiration for the tracks, shaping the overall theme. Leg Eater is a grimy, enigmatic creature dwelling in the depths. His presence is embodied through thick, saturated bass—almost sticky in texture—serving as his sonic signature. Cornifer’s theme centers on the trumpet, buzzing like an insect, almost mosquito-like in tone. For Nymm, I reworked the Nymm character soundtrack by layering it with my recordings, transforming it into a dreamy, dub-infused reinterpretation.
