So far in its fledgling career, the Ultra Knites label has been populated by collaborations of the same name from the two founders Sem Marini and Mike Sharon. This third release sees the pair showcase their talents as solo artists with the first in a series of Knite Grooves releases, with Sharon calling shotgun and manning proceedings on the A Side. With a lilting female vocal hook, soft pads and jazzy Rhodes touches, "People" is a classicist take on NY house that features some weighty kick drums, whilst "Field Of Dreams" opts for a approach that's more indebted to the likes of Mr Fingers. Marini delivers a peak time bumper in the shape of "Voltage" which contrasts nicely with the deep rolling business of final track "Music Takes Me".
