Messalina records return with a fantastic new release. With the edit duties undertaken by Zurich�s Balearic disco maestro Lexx, you know you�re in for a treat and this release doesn�t disappoint in any way, serving up an awesome collection of Balearic obscurities chipped and sliced to perfection. Side A kicks off with the brilliant Eminent Times, an excellent mash-up of Prince vs. The Who that has been in-demand since featuring on Lexx�s wonderful Sundance mix from 2006. Next up is So Different Here, a super cool extended edit of Rachel Sweet�s lost classic featuring that �So Hot� loop made famous by the Beatnuts. On the flip side we get Go, a beautifully deep rework of a lost track by Spargo, and finally the afrodisco groove Kumbayero, a super funky DJ friendly edit of a rare gem from 1976, previously only available on an impossible-to-find 7 inch.
