After his critically lauded debut, A Strange Arrangement, made noise on the indie Stones Throw label, the hip-hop DJ/producer turned throwback singer toured relentlessly. Hawthorne's hard work has paid off with a major singing to Universal Republic (Florence and the Machine, James Blake, The Lonely Island) and a sophomore LP, How Do You Do, on deck.
