Repress (papercover) Brand new Giegling release - one of our favourite labels, where every release is special with excellent artwork. After giving us 2 albums already on the label, Matthias Reiling returns with this excellent 5-track EP - 'the first track is a downtempo guitar-twanged delight, not unlike Villalobos' 'Waiworino' in feel before adding laidback piano for a jazz lounge groove and 'Silverhope Rd' develops on that theme with a beautifully intricate groove. On the flip, 'Warm Down' is the one most likely to be heard out over the next few months with that deep yet heavily layered sound we have grown to expect from the label whilst 'Outpace' is a brisk, live-sounding drum-centered groove based around a subtle bassline. All these tracks offer new sounds and new intricacies on repeated listen - and go to underline why every Giegling relaease is eagerly anticipated.
